Enhancing Orange Money Services with Kapptivate Builder
The problem
Orange Money, a leading mobile financial service provider, faced the challenge of ensuring reliable service performance and a positive user experience across various regions. Each country had unique service demands, such as signing up for medical care in one region and subscribing to digital TV in another. The primary issue was to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction while allowing for easy customization of services to meet these local needs. Orange Money needed a solution that could automate testing, monitor performance, and facilitate the efficient development and deployment of tailored services.
The solution
To address these challenges, Kapptivate’s advanced testing and monitoring tools were implemented. My role in this project was pivotal in creating a comprehensive design system that was integral to the Kapptivate builder. This design system included well-defined styles, reusable components, space rules, color rules, and design tokens. These elements ensured consistency and efficiency across different services. Additionally, I conducted numerous meetings with developers to integrate these components effectively and presented the results to stakeholders in different countries. The system allowed for the development of a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, enabling countries to easily create and customize their services. By leveraging Kapptivate's tools, automated testing and real-time monitoring were integrated into the process, significantly reducing time to market and improving service quality. This solution ensured that Orange Money could meet the specific demands of each region while maintaining high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
Implementation and Impact
Design System Creation:
I developed a comprehensive design system with well-defined styles, components, space rules, colour rules, and design tokens to ensure consistency and efficiency.
This design system provided a standardised framework that facilitated the development and deployment of new service components, making it easier to maintain quality and coherence across various regions.
Drag-and-Drop Interface:
A user-friendly drag-and-drop interface was designed and tested, enabling countries to easily create and customize their own services using pre-built components.
